Karen Borgert Elected President Centerville-Washington Foundation

Karen Borgert, vice president for Human Resources with the Kettering Health Network, Grandview and Southview Hospitals was elected president of the Centerville-Washington Foundation’s Board of Trustees at the Foundation’s Annual Membership Breakfast at Yankee Trace on April 17.

Borgert has served as the Foundation’s vice president during the last two years and has led a series of long-range planning retreats. She has served the Southwest Ohio healthcare market for the past 25 years. The Dayton Association for Young Children has recognized her as Community Advocate of the Year and she has a passion for workforce development, strategic planning and community service.

Judy Stang, Vice-President for Residential Care at Graceworks Lutheran Services, was elected vice president. She has served as the Foundation’s treasurer for the past two years and is chair of the Board’s Grants Committee.

Jeffrey A. Winwood, a lawyer with the firm of Winwood Rutledge Co., LLC, was elected treasurer, and Margaret L. Marks, Lead Program Analyst and Planning Team Lead with the U. S. Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center, was elected to a second three-year term as secretary.

The Centerville-Washington Foundation was established in 1998. An affiliate of The Dayton Foundation, the Centerville-Washington Foundation functions as a useful and cost-effective partner for corporate and charitable giving. In addition to providing grants and leadership, the foundation invests and manages donor’s charitable funds.
