Summer Fundraiser Held at Yankee Trace
The Dick Brown Sound provided an evening of cool jazz with a piano/keyboard and drums for the Centerville-Washington Foundation’s annual summer fundraiser Friday, July 31, at Yankee Trace.>
“It was a time for community supporters to network and enjoy each other’s company with good music, good food and good drinks,” Karen Borgert, Foundation president, said.>
It was one more time for the community to hear what the Foundation has been doing and our plans for the future, she continued. We’re also interested in your ideas about how we can continue “helping people help our community,” Ms. Borgert said.>
Schlegel Creative Resources, Richard and Eileen Carr and Yeck Brothers Company were sponsors for the event.>
A community partner for corporations and individuals interested in charitable giving, the Foundation serves as a source of funds for community groups.>
